Warm + Frothy Immune-Boosting Juice
I don't know about you guys, but around here it seems like everyone got hit extra hard this cold season. I for one am definitely welcoming Spring with open arms, but since the chilly temps aren't quite gone for good, I want to share with you one of my all-time favorite cold remedies.
This Warm + Frothy Immune-Boosting Juice is on constant repeat in my house during the colder months. Made with only five simple ingredients (one of them being water), this drink is filled with everything you need to keep you in fighting form all winter long.
Not only does this juice require little ingredients, but the other wonderful thing is that you don't even need a juicer to make it! Just a high-speed blender and mesh strainer is all it takes to get the amazing health benefits of ginger, lemon, apple, and cayenne pepper!
Warm + Frothy Immune-Boosting Juice
(Makes 1 Serving)
Ingredients:
1.5 cups warm water
1 apple, cored, peeled and chopped
1 inch fresh ginger, peeled
2 Tbs fresh lemon juice
dash of cayenne pepper
Instructions:
1. Blend all ingredients together in a high-speed blender until completely smooth and frothy. Pour through a mesh strainer (optional) into a mug and enjoy!
